Restarting Communications in the Bruker system

The first remedy to try when you see anything unusual in what Topspin is doing is to relaunch it and restart its communications with the NMR spectrometer console.

Please, follow these steps:

1. Exit Topspin (if it does not respond: force-quit it),
   
   
2. Count to 10 (to allow for release of Bruker Topspin license),
   
   
3. Re-launch Topspin,
   
   
4. Display any experiment,
   
   
5. On the Topspin command line, issue:

   ii restart
   

6. Wait till you see 'done' in the status bar.
   
   

Topsin should now be fully functional.
